Where It All Began

Born from a Passion for Live Music

The Lounge Café & KTV was born from a simple but powerful idea: that Makati deserved a venue where live music, good food, and genuine community could coexist in an intimate, welcoming space.

Founded and established in Makati City, The Lounge set out to create something different from the typical bar or KTV joint — a venue that curates genuine entertainment experiences, one night at a time. From its first performance to its latest, The Lounge has always been about the music, the moment, and the people who fill the room.

Located on Bakawan Street at the corner of Mayapis in Makati City, The Lounge quickly became a landmark for Makati's entertainment community — drawing loyal regulars, first-time visitors, and some of the local music scene's most exciting acts.

2024

The Lounge Opens Its Doors

The Lounge Café & KTV officially opens at Bakawan St. cor. Mayapis, Makati City — with a mission to create an intimate live entertainment destination unlike any other in the neighbourhood.

Early Days

Resident Bands Established

Philip Arabit with The High Caliber Band begins a weekly Thursday residency at The Lounge, drawing consistent crowds and establishing the venue as a must-visit destination for live music.

Growth

Community Grows to 15,000+ on Facebook

The Lounge's Facebook page surpasses 15,000 followers as word spreads across Makati and Metro Manila — with thousands engaging with every new event announcement.

Special Events

Headline Acts & Comedy Nights Begin

The Lounge expands its programming to include headline guest acts and stand-up comedy nights with The Comedy Crew — bringing new dimensions to the entertainment calendar.

2025

Full KTV Suite Experience Launched

Private KTV rooms are introduced, transforming The Lounge into a full-service entertainment venue — combining live music, comedy, private karaoke, and café dining under one roof.

Continued Growth & New Artists
